Our garage door broke down the other day. We couldn't open it even manually. The spring broke and we were trapped at home. It just happened to occur on a night that we had a lot going on. So, I made a ton of cookies and begged people to take us where we needed to go and gave them cookies for doing it. Thank goodness for kind people. The garage door repairman came the next morning and it took a very short time to fix it. I cannot believe how dependant I am on a car. I wish we lived closer to things so that I didn't have to drive everywhere. Maybe that will change soon...
