Ben's first Pinewood Derby was on Saturday, March20th. I was a little worried about it, because some of the mom's were telling me that it is a miserable experience. Boys being mean to other boys and them ending up walking away feeling horrible about their car and their race. We showed up on Saturday morning not knowing what to really expect. It was such a positive experience! Ben's car was far from winning, but it was so exciting to see all of the different cars and see how much work the boy's ( I really mean dads) put into their cars. Racing was fun and I can't wait for next year.
